ABPOPPM Advanced External Assessment Examination
The American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine will be offering its Advanced External Assessment Examination on Saturday, March 29, 2008. This examination will be given on-line and can be taken from any computer with Internet access. The examination itself has been conceived to mirror the competencies present in the competencies document created by the certifying boards. These competencies are more specific than those listed in CPME documents and are more specifically aligned with the material present on the ABPOPPM Qualification Examination. As such it will provide valuable feedback to the residents and program faculty on their individual clinical and didactic strengths and weaknesses in relation to the expectation of the certifying boards. Those who take the examination that are not in their final year of training will find it a valuable self-assessment tool for their future board qualification examination.
